About

Tom Borges is an American photographer based in the heart of the Midwest. Known for his frank and energetic photography, Tom paves the future of his craft by firmly rooting himself in the past.

Whether he is capturing international hair and beauty shows or shooting men’s heritage clothing, Tom’s work harnesses the spirit of his childhood. Bare feet splayed in the dirt. The ripple of a horse’s working back. Campfires and cicadas. These memories infuse his photography with a Midwestern ethos, the juxtaposition of beauty with hard work.

His photography offers insight into its subject matter, a simple story that both tells its viewers all they need to know while also leaving them to wonder. Tom’s passion for storytelling has led him to success with a wide range of clients, brands, and photography, including fashion, product, studio, events, weddings, and lifestyle.

In an ever-growing search to capture and understand the American story, Tom’s work has taken him from the West Coast to the snow-coated Catskills. No hike is too difficult, no cliff to steep to discourage the curiosity of his camera. To learn more about his work, his own story, or for questions about work contact Tom below.
